A look back at 2023’s event – Change Makers: Elected Women Serving the Borderland
Our inaugural Change Makers event took place on Friday, March 31, 2023 at the El Paso Convention Center and was centered around acknowledging the trailblazing accomplishments of El Paso's female elected officials across the spectrum of governance. The event consisted of a luncheon and panel discussion led by Cindy Ramirez of El Paso Matters. Panelists included US Congresswoman Veronica Escobar, Retired District Judge Linda Chew, and State Board of Education Member Dr. Melissa N. Ortega. Over 50 elected officials were in attendance.
The event was presented by Progress321 and El Paso Matters, two supporting organizations of the El Paso Community Foundation.
